Food Menu

A Variety of nutritious food is provided each day that meet the guidelines of the Food Standards Agency.

Our fees include all snacks and meals in our setting. We serve breakfast, lunch and a morning and afternoon snack as well as an evening meal. The children will have access to drinking water at all times along with milk at meal times. Please let me know if your child has any allergies or special food requirements. We prepare all our meals and snacks fresh on the day.

Allergies and Religion will be taken into account when preparing the children’s food. Where meat or beef products are offered at meal times, a vegetarian alternative will be available.

An Example of our Weekly Food Menu:
The Menu can be altered by children’s preferences on the day, example making Pizza for lunch and baking cup cakes for snacks and is not exhaustive.

Monday

Breakfast; Banana Bran muffin
Snack; Sliced Fresh Fruit with Rice cakes
Lunch; Cottage Pie with Carrots and peas followed by yogurt
Snack; Fresh fruit and a children’s’ sugar free biscuit
Evening Meal; Roast chicken with Broccoli, Carrots and air fried potatoes

Tuesday

Breakfast; Choice of Cereals with milk , fresh fruit and toast with a selection of spreads
Snack; Raisins with Biscotti Biscuits
Lunch; Beef and/ or Vegetable Pasta bake
Snack; Rice cake with banana/sliced apple
Evening Meal; Sausages, mashed potatoes and beans/broccoli.

Wednesday

Breakfast; Scrambled egg on toast and a yogurt
Snack; Dried fruit box with Rice cakes
Lunch; Chicken and vegetable stew with rice,
Snack; Sliced grapes and nectarine with Rich Tea biscuits
Evening Meal; Pasta with a Beef and/ or Vegetable Bolognese sauce

Thursday

Breakfast; Buttered Fruit Toast and sliced banana with a choice of Cereals with milk
Snack; Drop scones with a choice of spreads
Lunch; Chicken and vegetable pasta bake
Snack; yogurt coated fruit with Biscotti Biscuits
Evening Meal; Breaded Fish, potato wedges, peas and carrots
