Special Education Needs Policy (Inclusion)

I welcome all children & families to have the same choices & opportunities in accessing my provision.

All children are respected and their individuality recognised, valued & nurtured. Allowing children to develop in an environment free from prejudice & discrimination, through the choice of activities & play equipment.

Appropriate opportunities are given to children to explore, acknowledge & value similarities & differences between themselves & others.

For all children with special needs, I will work in partnership with all those involved in the child’s development to enable them to access & enjoy the same range of services, facilities & resources. 

Unacceptable language & behaviour, which is prejudice or exclusive to others, will be challenged.
